Cost Estimator
What will this actually cost at my house?
Answer a few questions and we'll show you the published price for the work we'd recommend, plus the things that genuinely move that number at a home like yours. We'll ask for a number along the way so we can follow up — skip it and you'll still see every figure.
Step 1 of 6
What are you dealing with?
Why we won't invent a number
Plenty of calculators will hand you a confident figure the moment you type in your square footage. It is a nice experience right up until the technician arrives, looks at the actual house, and quotes something different.
The things that set the price are physical. How many gaps a rodent is using and how high up they are. How far the foundation runs, and whether the house sits on a slab or a crawl space. Whether the insulation under the floor has already been fouled. None of that fits in a dropdown, and pretending otherwise just moves the awkward conversation to your driveway.
So this page does the opposite. Every figure below is our real published price, the same one quoted everywhere else on this site and to everyone who calls. The estimator points you at whichever applies, explains what pushes it up or down, and then the free inspection settles it.
Our published prices
Everything Universal publishes a price for, in one place. Ranges are ranges because the job varies, not because the price does.

Termite
A homeowner's yearly inspection is free. Sentricon is billed monthly with the warranty included — there is no separate yearly fee — and the stations are installed by the foot around the foundation. Liquid treatment is published separately below.
- Annual termite inspection (free)
- $0
- Sentricon termite baiting system
- $39/month
- Sentricon setup (per linear foot)
- $8 – $12 per linear foot
- WDIR termite letter (real estate closing)
- $75 – $125
Liquid termite treatment
Two published options: a localized treatment where the activity is confined to one area, and a full trenched barrier dug and injected around the entire foundation. The warranty renewal is optional and keeps a treatment's warranty in force for another year.
- Localized treatment
- $395
- Full trenched liquid barrier
- $595 – $1,195
- Yearly optional warranty renewal (liquid customers)
- $128 – $278
Not all homes qualify for these treatments. An initial inspection is required before any termite service is sold or started — it is what confirms which treatment a home needs, and whether it qualifies.
Rodents & bed bugs
Priced by the work involved — how much has to be sealed, or how many rooms are affected.
- Rodent exclusion (whole home)
- $99 – $1,495
- Bed bug treatment (per room)
- $175 – $325 per room
- Bed bug whole-home program
- $1,000 – $2,500
Yard & crawl space
Mosquito treatment is sold per visit. Crawl space work is quoted after an inspection; the figure below is for full encapsulation.
- Mosquito control (per visit)
- $75 – $125 per visit
- Crawl space encapsulation
- $3,000 – $10,000
Prices apply across our Hampton Roads service area. Crawl space repairs, insulation replacement and termite damage repair are quoted after an inspection, because the work depends entirely on what is found.
Straight Answers
How much does pest control cost in Hampton Roads?
It depends on which problem you have, and the published prices differ a great deal between them. The most common figures are:
- Quarterly pest control for ants, roaches, spiders and rodents: $34/month, billed monthly with no contract.
- A one-time treatment for something already active: $87 – $287.
- Whole-home rodent exclusion, meaning sealing the ways in: $99 – $1,495.
- Liquid termite treatment: $395 for a localized job, $595 – $1,195 for a full trenched barrier around the foundation. Not every home qualifies, and nothing is sold or started before an inspection.
The estimator on this page walks you to whichever of these applies to you.
Why won't the estimator give me one exact price?
Because nobody has seen your house. The things that actually set the price — how many entry points a rodent job has, how far the foundation runs, what is under the crawl space — cannot be answered from a dropdown. What the estimator does instead is show you the real published price for the work we would recommend, and tell you honestly which factors move it. The inspection is what turns that into a number.
Is the inspection free?
Yes. We come out, look at the problem and quote the work at no charge, and a homeowner's yearly termite inspection is free as well. The one inspection we charge for is the WDIR termite letter a real estate closing requires, because that is a written report rather than a quote.
Is quarterly pest control billed monthly or quarterly?
The service is quarterly — a technician comes out roughly every 90 days — but you pay $34/month as a monthly subscription rather than a lump sum four times a year. If pests turn up between visits, the return visit is free.
Does an active rat or German roach problem cost more?
The monthly rate does not change, but the start-up does. Those two are the only jobs we do not put straight onto the normal schedule, and which one you have is settled at the inspection rather than over the phone:
- We service the house monthly for the first three months, rather than waiting a full quarter between visits, because both breed fast enough to outrun a 90-day cycle.
- After those three months it shifts to the standard quarterly schedule, which is there to stop it starting again.
- The monthly rate stays at $34/month. What goes up is the initial: add $125 – $225 to it, the lower figure on a small property and the upper on a large one.
- Moving up to one of the higher membership tiers discounts that start-up amount.
Everything else on the price list runs on the normal schedule.
Why is the rodent exclusion range so wide?
Because the job is sealing the building, not catching the animal. $99 – $1,495 covers everything from a couple of gaps around a garage door to a whole roof line, soffits and crawl space vents on a two-story house. Until someone walks the outside of the home, any narrower figure would be a guess.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No. The plans are monthly subscriptions you can pause, upgrade, downgrade or cancel whenever your needs change. One-time treatments are exactly that — a single job at a single price.
Can I add duct cleaning or dryer vent cleaning to my pest plan?
Yes. Both can be added to any plan. Adding duct cleaning and dryer vent cleaning moves you to the Elite plan, which bundles annual service for both into your regular monthly billing. A few things worth knowing:
- The Elite plan is $122/month and covers everything in the Pro plan plus yearly duct and dryer vent cleaning.
- Attic and crawlspace inspections are included with any plan at no additional charge — you do not need to upgrade to get them.
If you are already on a plan and want to add these services, call the office and we will adjust your membership.
Do you offer bundle pricing for multiple large jobs?
Yes. When a customer has several larger-ticket services done at the same property — for example, rodent exclusion alongside encapsulation or a duct cleaning package — we offer bundle pricing. The specifics depend on what is on the list, so the best way to find out what applies to your situation is to mention it when you call or send a quote request.
Want the real number?
The inspection is free and there is nothing to sign. We look at the house, tell you what it takes, and you decide from there.
